LAHORE - Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid met with the Deputy Health Minister of Turkey Professor Tolga Toloni at a local hotel. Provincial Minister of Primary and Secondary Health Care Department Dr. Akhtar Malik also accompanied Yasmin. Besides Turkish Deputy Minister of Health Professor Tolga Toloni the Director General Health Services Dr. Salami Kulci and Turkish Consul General Emir Ozbey were also present. Health minister Yasmin Rashid discussed issues of mutual interest with Turkish Deputy Minister of Health. Deputy Health Minister of Turkey Professor Tolga Toloni appreciated health projects by health department in Punjab. Dr. Yasmin Rashid said on this occasion, close and friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkey have been established. The private health business community from Pakistan, especially Punjab, should take full advantage of the Pak-Turkey Healthcare Business Forum and Exhibition. Doctors will get a chance to learn a lot in the forum and exhibition. According to the vision of Imran Khan, we are trying to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab. Dr. Yasmin Rashid further said that 23 major government hospitals and 11 Mother and Child Hospitals are also being built in Punjab. Provincial Minister of Primary and Secondary Health Care Department Dr. Akhtar Malik said that basic steps are being taken to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab. Deputy Health Minister of Turkey paid tribute to the Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid for providing free treatment facilities to the people of Punjab through sehat sahulat Card. There was also an exchange of gifts between Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Dr. Akhtar Malik and Deputy Minister of Health Turkey Professor Tolga Tuloni.
