LAHORE - At least two people died in different road accidents in the City on Friday. Police investigators said a 50-year-old newspaper-hawker was on his way to home when a speeding car hit his bike near Kokab Store in Misri Shah Area as a result of which he suffered multiple wounds. Locals shifted him to a hospital where he breathed his last. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy after none of the citizens approached the police regarding the death. Meanwhile, a motorcyclist Tauseef struck against a footpath at Pir Ghaziabad Road in Ichara and sustained severe injuries. The doctors also pronounced him dead when he was shifted to the hospital. Later, police handed over the body to his heirs after legal formalities.
