ISLAMABAD (APP) - The gold price soared to Rs 37,400 per tola in Peshawar, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday. According to Peshawar Sarrafa Association, the gold price shot up owing to the rupee devaluation and the greenbacks enhancement. According to the association, the gold price once again surged, as it was at Rs. 36,400 a week ago, which has now mounted to Rs. 37,400 per tola. Meanwhile, in Karachi, gold surged by Rs 85 to Rs 30,985 per 10 grams in local bullion market Wednesday, as its international price also jumped to $ 1,125 an ounce, market sources said. A leading bullion dealer said that tola (11.664 grams) price also climbed by Rs 150 to Rs 36,150. Silver improved to Rs 488.57 per 10 grams.
