Turkish Deputy CGS calls on PAF Chief

ISLAMABAD   -   Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu called on Chief of Air Staff of   Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at his office here on Thursday. According to the PAF officials, both the dignitaries discussed matters of professional and mutual interest during the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu commended the professionalism of the PAF and acknowledged its rising indigenous capacity in the aviation industry. The Air chief said that Pakistan and Turkey enjoy long standing religious, cultural and historical bonds which are manifested through strong ties between both air forces. The Air chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, according to the press release. Meanwhile, Pakistan Air Force is undertaking a relief operation as PAF C-130 airlifted relief goods to the flood affected areas of Gwadar, Balochistan on Thursday.
