NAB raids Fawad Hasan Fawad residence in Lahore

The National Accountability Bureau Lahore cell has raided the house of former Prime minister's principal secretary Fawad Hasan Fawad in Lahore on Saturday.

According to NAB sources,  2 laptop, 5 mobile phones and 30 USB's were taken into custody from his residence for forensic investigation and to recover the deleted data.

Fawad Hasan Fawad was arrested on July 5 on corruption allegations and yesterday an accountability court handed over him to NAB on fourteen days physical remand.

As per NAB officials, Fawad awarded his favourites in Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme, ordered illegally to shift 9 CNG stations and worked in a private bank from 2005 to 2006 without official permission.

He served as the principal secretary to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and removed from his post on June 1 this year and appointed as director general of Civil Services Academy in Lahore.
