China marked July 01, 2021 as a day of success. No doubt it was the day of great achievements for China. The journey full of struggle and successes began 100 years ago, and in 1949, the search for a path that would have taken centuries, was completed.

However, for the past 40 years, this journey has begun to amaze the global powers and make them think today. When 2049 will come and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China will be celebrated, the world is likely to change. China’s Communist Party has played an unparalleled role in moving China from traditionalism to modernity. And when the General Secretary of the Communist Party, Xi Jinping, delivered a historic speech on July 01, he described successes and outlined the next goals.  

“Xi said China has realized the first centenary goal -- building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The CPC has united and led the Chinese people over the past 100 years for one ultimate theme --bringing about the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. - The Party unites and leads the Chinese people in fighting bloody battles with unyielding determination, achieving great success in the new-democratic revolution. - Only socialism could save China, and only socialism with Chinese characteristics could develop China. By pursuing reforms and opening-up, a crucial move in making China what it is today, China had caught up with times. The people are the true heroes, for it is they who create history. China welcomes helpful suggestions, but will not accept sanctimonious preaching. China will elevate its armed forces to world-class standards so that we are equipped with greater capacity and more reliable means for safeguarding our national sovereignty, security, and development interests. Chinese people will never allow any foreign force to bully, oppress, or subjugate us. China to keep promoting human community with shared future. China committed to world peace, development and order.”

China is the only state in the world to have declared poverty alleviation in its country 10 years before the UN target, and at the same time, she introduced the idea of bringing prosperity to the World through Belt and Road Initiative.

Behind this unprecedented success is the shrewd, courageous and magical figure of Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, who has been committed to increase China’s global influence after assuming the presidency in 2012. There are three pillars of socialism model proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping: the CPC’s historic contribution to nation-building, the interpretation of the dream of a moderately prosperous society and the CPC’s role in the continuation of the socialist revolution.  Xi Jinping’s vision, which combines the best of the party, the state and the people, emphasizes that the three are moving forward together, and that is why President Xi Jinping’s focus is on national stability and poverty elimination.

Efforts by President Xi to reform the party have further clarified China’s current position in the world, which in fact points to become a newly developed and number one economic power on the world horizon.

“We are not only comfortable with China and the Chinese government, but also happy with the Chinese socialist system that has taught the Chinese people to live with dignity and selfishness in the world. The system that made the Chinese lifestyle better. The country became a center of prosperity.  And today it is a role model for other nations around the world. The Communist Party is the only party in the world with more members than any other political party in the world. It has been observed that in other countries there is no merit in getting membership of political parties. In many countries people change party loyalties and do it again and again but in China this is not the case. You have to apply for party membership regularly. After which merit has to be met but many Chinese cannot get membership. Despite this, the Communist Party has more than 90 million members. In my opinion, if a system is giving development and prosperity to its people, whether it is socialist, democratic or monarchical, then according to the requirements of modern times, no one should object to it.

There are different systems of government in various parts of the world. The people of a country follow the system they like. But no system can be imposed on any nation according to the likes and dislikes of any other country. If this happens then it is against the principles of democracy.  How can anyone object to someone’s style of governing in a country and its people like it? But more importantly, if a system is providing the people with the best jobs, equal rights and basic necessities, then that system becomes an example for the nations , in their territories, their system is bringing deterioration instead of improving the lives of the people.

China’s current model of development is undoubtedly due to the socialist system, which has provided equal opportunities for every village, town in China to develop equally and all sections living there to move forward, in which case the Chinese will like the socialist system. Perhaps this is why in China, love for the Communist Party is considered equal to love for China.  International experts also say that the Communist Party of China is the guarantor of the development of the People’s Republic of China, the world’s second largest economic power, which has astonished the world with its development and prosperity in a very short time. The first focus of which is to take their country to the path of development and prosperity and at the same time the ideology of the General Secretary of the Communist Party and President Xi Jinping has been made part of the constitution and today the world witnesses that China was moving forward in its goal of success. And China is not the only one benefiting from this journey of success, but it is developing a large part of the world through the Belt and Road Initiative.  According to reports, out of the world’s population of more or less 7 billion, more than 4 billion will be prosperous by participating in this journey of prosperity in China.
