LAHORE (PR): The third convocation of University of Education held which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Faiz ul Hasan.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Faiz ul Hasan in his welcome address said that we have to acknowledge and applaud the realization and commitment of the government towards education as increasing budget allocation is a clear evidence of their support results the maximization of research culture among students today. By giving a short introduction of varsity, Vice Chancellor said that University of Education was established in September 2002 as a specialized university for teacher education, which was essentially a new concept in Pakistan but not so in the outside world. UoE is not only providing a quality education to students in various disciplines at its 10 campuses spreading all over the Punjab but it has a unique position regarding teacher education as the real key for quality education. Dr. Faiz ul Hasan congratulated the graduates particularly the award winners on their brilliant performance and said that this is indeed a memorable occasion for them, for their parents and for their teachers.
During the convocation 2013, Vice Chancellor conferred degrees upon the graduates and postgraduates of various disciplines.
