Residents of LoC areas ‘unpaid soldiers’

MIRPUR (AJK)-AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider said that brave Kashmiri people, leaving along 740km long Line of Control, are the unpaid soldiers of Pakistan, facing Indian army oppression on daily basis
"The government will spare no effort for the welfare of people living along LoC and we will not leave them alone." AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider expressed the views while addressing a mammoth public gathering in Abbaspur here the other day.
He was accompanied by Ministers of State, Member Kashmir Council, Members of AJK Legislative Assembly and his other party colleagues on the occasion. Referring to the new and ongoing development projects for the public welfare in forward town of Abbaspur, The PM said that all indispensable measures will be taken before winter to facilitate people living near the LoC.
"A committee has been formed to this direction for timely implementation of the projects," he added.
He said, "Abbaspur town is named after late Raeesul Ahrar Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas, the founding leader of the Kashmir freedom struggle and the ex Supreme head of the AJK government. "We will soon upgrade this region to status of District after consultation to ease the official accommodation in Abbaspur, a good standard rest house will be constructed by July 2018", he revealed.
"Chaudhry Yasin Gulshan, a proficient assembly member with better representation, will address the steady public issues on priority basis," the PM said, adding that the government is cognizant of the demands and problems of Abbaspur people.
Raja Farooq Haider reiterated his party resolve that Nawaz Sharif took personal interest in the development of Azad Kashmir. "We have set an example by providing development funds equally to all constituencies of Azad Kashmir," he claimed.
Talking about development plans, the AJK PM stated that his government took practical steps to get resources, owing to which billions of rupees funds have been disbursed in Abbaspur. "Work on the projects is going on at a brisk pace, some of which have been accomplished and the others are in the final stage of completion," the premier explained.
He said that after winning 2016 elections, the first priority of incumbent government was to highlight the Kashmir issue globally and respond efficiently to Indian propaganda. "For this purpose, a prominent ambassador Masood Khan was chosen as President of Azad Kashmir; with his continuous endeavours Kashmir issue has been highlighted globally," the AJK PM pointed out.
He pledged that all promises made with people during elections would be accomplish. "We are carrying out single point public welfare agenda," he declared, adding that no minister in his cabinet is corrupt and no one can even doubt any favoritism in the cabinet.
