A four-member Pakistan Junior Snooker squad was finally granted visas by the India High Commission here Wednesday for participation in the 11th Asian U21 Snooker Championship being staged in Indore (India) from April 7 to 15. The visas were granted after hectic efforts by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) president Alamgir A. Shaikh, who sent several mails and made telephone calls to the officials of Asian Federation and the host Association during the last 15 days to intervene in obtaining the required NOC from the Indian government (Ministry of Home Affairs), said a press release issued here on Wednesday. The Pakistan squad will flew to Mumbai on Thursday and from there it will take a flight to Indore, the same evening.
