College organises Mehfil-e-Naat

Islamabad - A Mehfil-e-Naat was organised at Islamabad Model Postgraduate College, H-8, to express deep gratitude and love for the beloved Prophet (PBUH) on Saturday.
Mehboob Alam Shezad, principal of Commerce College H-8/4, was the chief guest on the occasion. The Mehfil-e-Naat started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Amjad Ali Awan, student of 1st year. Sarmad, Abdul Sattar and other students of the college read out melodiously Naat in the honour of the beloved Prophet (PBUH). Their melodious voice touched the hearts of the audience who felt intensely moved.
The stage secretary Professor Javed Iqbal Mughal told the audience that one of the students who read out Na’at had got miraculously cured of his lockjaw only because he did not give up reading out Naat to express his love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the name of that is Amir Rehman.
Prof Dr Habibullah Chishti highlighted the different aspects and qualities that were dense in the perfect personality of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He said that it is the teaching of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to keep no malicious intentions in the heart for our Muslim brothers. “Following the footsteps of our beloved Prophet, we can succeed in every walk of life,” he said.
Professor Khurshid Ahmad Shakoori said, “It is our extreme bliss that we have an opportunity to express our love and gratitude to our beloved Prophet (PBUH).” He asked the students to spread the message of peace, tolerance, harmony and love.
