UN Commission not allowed access to Army: Rehman Malik

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik revealed that it has been clarified to the UN Commission that Pak Army has nothing to do with the Benazir assassination case; accordingly, the Commission would not be allowed access to the military officials or agency. According to a private news channel he said sweeping action would be launched against miscreants in North Waziristan Agency along with South Waziristan Agency. A massive operation against target killings in Karachi is being initiated, the federal minister unfolded, adding in case of any incident, the action would be taken against the SHO, Intelligence officer and other officials. Malik said the investigations proved that the Yaum-e-Ashur blast was not suicidal; stressing that action would be taken against the high-ups found negligible in the incident.
