MIRPUR (AJK) - The AJK government has directed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to immediately manage holding the T20 matches at the Mirpur Cricket Stadium, which is currently in the PCB's control.
Taking strong notice of the fast worsening conditions of the PCB-controlled Mirpur Stadium following the continued alleged lack of interest and mismanagement by board, Azad Jammu & Kashmir chief secretary M Shehzad Arbab ordered the concerned PCB to take immediate steps for renovation of the stadium.
During his surprise visit to the stadium on the eve of his day-long whirlwind visit to Mirpur city here, the AJK CS directed manager of Mirpur International Cricket Stadium and representative of the PCB Col (retd) Noshaad Ahmed to manage holding the T20 cricket matches in Mirpur Cricket Stadium by bringing it to the required standard.
