KP ministers warn against Imran’s arrest

Peshawar   -   Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour and Human Rights Shaukat Yousafzai along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub on Tuesday said that the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

‘Imported’ government has been imposed on the country which is not capable of running the country bringing in a storm of inflation along with it. Prices of petroleum products, gas, and electricity have risen sharply.

Provincial Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub said that a systematic propaganda campaign is launched against Imran Khan, but the allegations are baseless. He further added that they are ready to negotiate for new elections and no other topic can be discussed.

Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Rights Shaukat Yousafzai said that during the long march, the convoys of elected Chief Ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan were shelled while the security staff assigned with the Chief Ministers restraint and saved from a major tragedy.  This shelling raises several questions that need to be answered.  Isn’t it the constitutional right of everyone to protest peacefully in the country?  Who is Rana Sana to stop the Chief Minister?

He further added that the Interior Minister is a criminal man involved in the Model Town tragedy.  The Supreme Court and state institutions should take notice of the statements of the Interior Minister.  Imran Khan is a citizen of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is part of Pakistan.  They can stay in any province wherever they want. Don’t make their stay a problem.

Provincial Minister Shaukat Yousafzai further said that the country has been handed over to IMF.  There is a serious crisis of electricity and gas in the country while the value of the dollar has suddenly risen.  The current imported government is the real tout of America.  I strongly condemn the attempt to deprive overseas Pakistanis of their right to vote. Imran Khan is an asset to the country. If anyone arrests him without proof, he will retaliate.

Zardari and Maulana have put the last nail in the coffin of Nawaz Sharif and the country’s politics.  Karachi is giving the highest income in the country.

He paid homage to the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and said that he had returned the imported government bills. Shaukat Yousafzai said that we are not afraid of the arrest but we are against the arrest without any evidence.
