IGP holds open court to address public complaints

ISLAMABAD   -    Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, while listening to the grievances of public as well as retired and serving officials during open court, said that the police are taking all possible measures for the safety and security of the citizens besides maintaining law and order in the Federal Capital.

In the open court held at Central Police Office on Monday, the IGP marked two applications submitted by the citizens against the police officials, to the Internal Accountability Unit (IAU) for a thorough inquiry. The IGP took strict notice of the citizen’s complaint about not entertaining her application and served show-cause notices to the SHOs of Ramna and Karachi Company Police Stations.
