COLOMBO - Fast bowling coach Champaka Ramanayaka is to be appointed as Sri Lanka’s fast bowling coach for the forthcoming cricket torus of Pakistan, India, and West Indies. Champaka Ramanayake will fill the shoes of Chaminda Vaas who resigned from the post. Ramanayake had worked as Sri Lanka fast bowling coach from 2001 to 2008 before he joined with the Bangladesh national team for the same position. Ramanayake again took the Sri Lanka fast bowling position in 2010 and worked till 2013, before Vaas took over as Ramanayake stepped down.
