LAHORE – Lahore College thrashed Ravi Club by 117 runs in the 9th Regional Inter District Women Cricket Tournament Seniors 2015 semi-final played here at the Race Course ground Thursday. Lahore College, batting first, piled up 251 runs on the board in 40 overs. Almas Akram hammered unbeaten 76 while Fazila Ikhlaq made 70 and Khadija Chishti 31. For Ravi Club, Noreen Yaqoob took two wickets. In reply, Ravi Club could score 134. Sania Ashraf and Natalia Pervaiz scored 26 runs each. For LC, Almas Akram clinched three wickets. In another semi-final played at Lahore Gymkhana ground, Kinnaird College routed Saga Women Club by eight wickets. Saga Club scored 108 runs in 40 overs with Razia Malik scoring 22 and Elizabeth Barkat 21 while KC achieved the target for the loss of two wickets.
