LAHORE - Pakistan coach Intikhab Alam finds the announced team for the Australia team as balanced mixed with youth and experience. Talking to journalists here Wednesday, the former Pakistan captain said that the team would give its best to win the series. He said that the conditions in UAE are favourable to Pakistan as Australia will be coming after playing from South Africa where wickets are hard and bouncy but being hosts the track would be suitable for the Pakistan team. He further stated that the three-day training camp of the team will roll into action from Friday here at the Gaddafi Stadium and the teams will leave for Dubai on April 13 then it will have a week long training camp at Dubai, giving final touch to its preparations by playing a practice match against Pak reserves. He said that he along with Aaqib Javed has visited the Dubai Sports City and found it a state of art stadium. "I am satisfied with the facilities and wicket in Dubai stadium," he added. On Shoaib Akhtar, he said that the fast bowler has returned in the team after proving his fitness and his selection is a positive sign for the team, which is a balanced blend of youth and experience. On ICL players, he said that the time they were cleared by the ICC they will be considered for selection and would be advantageous for the team. He further said that the reports of Australia clean sweep the series are all speculation. "The Australians are a top side and they will be coming into the series after another tough series in South Africa. But the conditions in Abu Dhabi and Dubai suit us and that will give us the edge," Alam said. "Every team can be beaten and so is the case with Australian team and we are fully prepared to perform to our best", he added.
