RAWALPINDI  – Residents of Chatian Hatian have expressed grave concern over increasing number of drug peddlers and drug users in the area.The residents said that women and children do not feel safe in Chatian Hatian landa bazaar as the drug addicts keep wandering in the streets. They said that the drug pushers are also involved in anti-social activities like theft and snatching. The citizens said that all their attempts to oust the outlaws from the locality have failed, while officials of Waris Khan police station were also reluctant to take any action against the drug peddlers and addicts for some reasons best known to them.They demanded of the higher officials of police to take notice of the situation in the area and start an operation against the anti-social elements.
