An earthquake of moderate intensity measuring 5.0 on the Richter jolted northern areas of the country at 10:59 AM.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department the epicenter of the quake was 28 kilometer deep at Afghanistan-Tajikistan.
No loss of life or property damage has been reported so far.
