The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) registered 160 cases over traffic violations during the last week. PHP sources said that its teams impounded 44 motorcycles for using fake registration number-plates or green number-plates. The PHP team apprehended four gamblers and recovered Rs 1600 stake money and other items from them. The team also arrested six persons over violation of the Sound System Act.
