The post-Hajj flight operation is set to begin tomorrow, with the first return flight scheduled to land in Islamabad at 3:50 AM.
According to media reports, seven flights carrying pilgrims will arrive across various cities in Pakistan on June 11. The second flight is expected in Islamabad at 9:10 AM, followed by arrivals in Lahore at 11:50 AM, Islamabad again at 12:10 PM, Multan at 12:35 PM, Karachi at 1:35 PM, and another flight in Lahore at 2:30 PM. An eighth flight is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad at 5:20 AM on June 12.
The month-long post-Hajj operation will continue until July 10, facilitating the return of 88,390 pilgrims under the government scheme through 342 flights. Pakistan's national, private, and Saudi airlines will jointly manage the operation to ensure a smooth and timely return for all pilgrims.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended congratulations to King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the exceptional organization of this year’s Hajj.
In a message on social media platform X, the prime minister expressed heartfelt gratitude for the efforts that made the pilgrimage more comfortable and spiritually fulfilling for pilgrims.
