KARACHI   -   A youth was allegedly tortured to death in the metropolis on Saturday. The enraged mob set the police check post on fire.

According to details, the police brutally tortured a youth over charges of drugs use in Korangi Zaman Town, resultantly he expired.

The citizens held protest against police and set a police check post on fire. The police to disperse the enraged mobile resorted to heavy aerial firing to disperse the enraged mob.  On the other hand, the police rejected the allegations and said that it found drug addict youth unconscious and shifted him to hospital where he expired.

Meanwhile, two people were killed in separate incidents in different localities of Karachi on Saturday. According to details, Muhammad Nadeem 35, committed suicide by hanging him over domestic disputes near Ghausia Mosque in Khamiso Goth, New Karachi. Body of an unidentified 65-year-old man was found Adeel Shah bus terminal in Sohrab Goth.

Bodies of both incidents were shifted to different hospitals for postmortem. Meanwhile, police arrested 41 professional beggars during crackdowns in district South to make it “No Beggar Zone.” A cop was injured upon resistance.
