KARACHI (APP) - Pakistan Apparel Forum Chairman Muhammad Jawed Bilwani has urged the government to extend maximum support and facilitation to value-added textile sector including earliest possible clearance of duty drawback claims of textile exporters. He maintained that the textile exporters were posed to liquidity crunch. Out of total amount of Rs28.72 billion of drawback of local taxes and levies submitted by the exporters to State Bank of Pakistan only Rs5.3 billion have been disbursed so far. This has caused great difficulties to the value-added textile exporters, said a press release of Pakistan Apparel Forum here on Tuesday.
