Balochistan’s progress should match the rest of Pakistan: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Balochistan should be taken along with the progress of rest of Pakistan, Waqt News reported. “Backward regions should also progress or else everyone can recall the example of East Pakistan,” he stated.

Imran Khan held a joint media talk with Balochistan National Party (BNP) chairman Akhtar Mengal in Islamabad.

“We have called an All Parties Conference (ACP) on January 10th where we will discuss CPEC,” Mengal told the media. “We will present our point of view regarding CPEC as Baloch have foremost right on the resources of Balochistan,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan said PTI leadership is going to attend APC next month. “Nobody knows about the progress of the CPEC project,” he said. “Baloch people should be given the benefits of the CPEC first and foremost,” he added.

“CPEC project should be used for integration and unification of Pakistan,” Khan said.
