Pakistan v India, Mirpur It's a big game. Arch rivals Pakistan and India take on each other and the it could well be a dress rehearsal for the final. Pakistan got a good start with a thumping 70 runs over Bangladesh on Sunday. India will pose a stiff opposition to Pakistan given their balance in the XI. Dhoni-led India are a good team with the right balance in batting and bowling. They are a young outfit with good exposure. They have solid batsmen in Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma who can tear apart any bowling line on their day. The bowling is also in good shape with an attack comprising RP Singh, Ishant Sharma, Irfan Pathan and Praveen Kumar. Indians did appreciably well in their last one day outing in Australia where they won the triangular series also involving Sri Lanka. And late last year they also prevailed over Pakistan at home with a 3-2 win. Indians will come out all guns blazing. Their entire unit was involved in the IPL so they will be up and running. Pakistan team will have to improve their performance and bring more cohesion in their squad. Although they gave a good display against Bangladesh but India will not only be another opposition but also they are a better opposition having a good record against them in recent past. Pakistani bowling will have to bring in more fire power in their performance as they failed to bowl out Bangladesh in the first game despite having early wickets.  The performance of young Wahab Riaz was heartening to note. He not only bowls with raw pace but he also seams the ball both ways becoming a dangerous preposition. Umar Gul and Sohail Tanvir will have to take charge and bowl well to restrict the explosive Indian batting line-up. Pakistan can do well if they manage to restrict Sehwag, Gambhir and Yuvraj. Pakistan batting seem to be doing well. Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal look like settling down well in opening slot so Pakistan shouldn't be tinkering with them for now. The rest of the lot will also have to bat responsibly given this high profile game. Also captain Shoaib Malik will have to improve his performance as he has been having a quiet time for sometime now. Weather can have a big say in this game as the rainy season is on in Bangladesh. India will start as favourites for this match but Pakistanis are not far behind and can do well if they deliver well as a unit with every individual performing his role well.
