The police, on court orders, registered a case against 11 Village Talpani-based persons on charges of grabbing house and land of a landlord and trashing women.
As per details, Mohammad Nawaz, son of Mohammad Din, a resident of Chak Ibrahim Basirpur filed a petition in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Bakhat Fakhar Behzad, submitting that 11 persons including Ali Ahmad, Rafique and Salam etc barged into his house in village Talpani.
The accused tortured and abused women and occupied his house and land. He claimed that the criminals also took away Rs2.1 million and other valuables from his house. On the court orders, the police registered a case and started inquiry into the incident.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle and car were stolen in separate incidents. Mohammad Shafi s/o Naurung, a resident of 7/GD parked his car outside DHQ Hospital. However, after sometime found the car missing. Whereas Malik Hamid parked his bike (OKL-7600) a stand in Hujra from where it was lifted by unidentified thieves.
