LAHORE  - Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Senator Ch Shujaat Hussain has welcomed the unanimous election of Dr Abdul Malik as the chief minister and described it the first step towards solution of Balochistan issue.
In a statement issued here Sunday, Shujaat felicitated Dr Abdul Malik on his unanimous election and said hopefully it would solve Balochistan issue.
He said Dr Malik was an honest personality and he was the first chief minister of Balochistan who had been elected unopposed and as such he had set the best example of taking everyone along.
Senator Shujaat said further that Dr Malik had talked about reconciliation which reflected his sincerity and truthfulness while others’ claims were mere an eye-wash.
He expressed the hope that Dr Malik, with his best capabilities, would take the Baloch and Pukhtoon people of the province with him and would succeed in resolving their long-standing problems in an appreciable manner.
