LAHORE : The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Monday paid rich tributes to the Pakistan armed forces for their successful operation against the terrorists at Karachi Airport.
In a press statement issued here Monday, the LCCI President Engineer Sohail Lashari said that security forces have once again proved that they would not allow the anti-Pakistan elements to take hostage the innocent people.
Engineer Sohail Lashari said that their precious blood would not go waste. He said that whole nation stands united behind the armed forces and would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice to remove the menace of terrorism.
He said that by hindering the attack at Karachi airport, the Pak armed forces have made it clear to the world that they have all abilities to confront any sort of challenge. He said that security forces and masses are ready to defend every inch of the country.
The LCCI President stressed the need of unveiling those who are helping the terrorists and all segment of society should play their role to this regard.
He said that the government needs to review its policy on terrorism to curb this menace once for all. Lashari urged the government to convene a roundtable of all the political parties and business community to make a consensus policy to cope with terrorism.
He said that Prime Minister, the President and all the Chief Minister should sit with the politicians and business leaders to evolve a methodology to get rid of this menace.
