ISLAMABAD : Security has been beefed up in the federal capital on Monday following the terrorist attack on Karachi airport. “Even though security in the capital city is already on high alert, the inspector general of ICT police has ordered to beef up security in the federal capital to keep the terrorists at arm’s length,” police spokesman said. “We are ready to tackle any unwanted situation across the capital city,” Muhammad Azam, an inspector of Rangers, told The Nation Monday.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police nabbed 11 outlaws, besides recovering wine, one motorbike and hashish from them, police said. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Ali Nekokara has appreciated this performance of police officials.
