Barkwal lays foundation stone of road in Karak

Peshawar  - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture, Maj (Retd) Muhammad Sajjad Barkwal, laid the foundation stone of the Kazim Kala–Amarkai Graveyard Road along with MNA Shahid Khattak in Karak district.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Agriculture Minister thanked the Chief Minister and said that Karak district had been included among his key priorities. InshaAllah, this era will mark the beginning of genuine development for Karak district. He added that the road projects would usher in a new era for the region. He expressed his commitment to working together for the progress and prosperity of the district.

Earlier, while addressing a public gathering in Dubli Lawahar, the minister said that addressing the grievances of long-neglected areas is his top priority. He added that a collective struggle would be launched to bring these areas on par with more developed ones.

Referring to the problems faced by the Lawaghar belt, Barkwal said he was well aware of the issues faced by the people. InshaAllah, these problems would be resolved on merit and in accordance with the aspirations of the local population.

He asserted that work would soon begin on roads connecting Tehsil Headquarters Takht-e-Nasrati and City Headquarters Karak. In addition, he mentioned that work would also be carried out on the basic health centre, solarization of tube wells, construction of irrigation channels, installation of agricultural tube wells, small dams, and other key infrastructure projects.

On the occasion, he announced that work on the Dubli Lawahar to Kandukhel road would also commence soon.

At the end of the ceremony, the minister welcomed new members into PTI by presenting them with party caps.
