In a poignant and powerful response to recent Indian aggression, the Pakistan Army on Saturday morning launched an Al-Fateh missile strike dedicated to the memory of innocent children martyred in unprovoked Indian attacks on civilian areas.

Security sources said the missile strike served as both retaliation and tribute. A photograph released showed a banner on the missile launch vehicle inscribed with the names of the children who lost their lives in the May 7 cross-border assault, which killed at least 31 civilians, including several children. “Pakistan neither has forgotten nor will forget the sacrifices of these innocent souls,” the sources added.

The incident marked a significant escalation in the enduring Pakistan-India conflict. In response to the May 7 attack, Pakistan shot down five Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets — including three Rafale aircraft — along with dozens of drones. Indian military drones, including nearly 80 Israeli-made IAI Heron UAVs, have reportedly continued to violate Pakistani airspace, prompting intensified defensive actions.

Tensions further spiked late Friday night when India launched a wave of missile attacks on key Pakistani airbases, including Noor Khan, Murid, and Shorkot. These attacks, fired from aircraft, also extended into Afghanistan, according to the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

“India is aggressively pushing the entire region toward war with its reckless actions,” Lt. Gen. Chaudhry said during a media briefing, assuring the public that all Pakistan Air Force (PAF) assets remain fully secure and operational. “We are fully prepared for any response,” he emphasized.

In retaliation to continued provocations, Pakistan launched a series of precision strikes on Indian military infrastructure. At least seven high-value sites were targeted, including the Pathankot, Udhampur, Gujarat, and Rajasthan airbases, as well as Brahmos missile storage facilities. The Udhampur airbase was reportedly struck by three Fateh-1 missiles, an indigenously developed system with a range of 120 kilometers.

Additionally, the Pakistan Armed Forces destroyed an Indian Army brigade headquarters and a supply depot in Uri. As part of a broader offensive, Pakistani cyber teams also launched a significant cyberattack that reportedly crippled 70% of India’s power grid, causing widespread blackouts and data loss.

The developments highlight the rapidly intensifying conflict between the two nuclear-armed states, with Pakistan vowing to defend its sovereignty and respond to continued hostilities with full force.
