Nobel war prize

This year’s Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to the Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos, for his resolute efforts to bring the country’s 50-year-old civil war to end. Should we not have a ‘not-so-Noble-war-prize’, as opposed to the Nobel Peace Prize, to be ‘awarded’ to those who bring death and destruction to their countries and the world. The notorious ‘prize’ should be given to the likes of Bashar-al-Asad and George W Bush etc for their distinction of having no mercy on the human lives and the world peace.
