LAHORE PTI chief Imran Khan has asked the PML-N head Nawaz Sharif to reveal his assets first if he is really interested in pursuing against the corrupt elements of the country. He expressed these views while addressing convocation of the Bradford University at Shaukat Khanum Hospital on Sunday. Imran claimed that Tsunami of PTI would sweep all the fake political parties in the next elections. He announced that the PTI would close down big governor, chief minister and prime minister houses and spend much of the public funds on education and health. PTI chief said that PML-N should resign from the assemblies if they were really interested in eliminating corruption from the country. Earlier, Imran Khan appreciated the services of College of Physicians and Surgeons in imparting quality postgraduate medical education in the country and abroad. Addressing a ceremony held at the SKMCH&RC on Sunday to award degrees to BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging students of University of Bradfords Lahore Division, Imran said: The CPSP is the leading credible institution which is imparting quality medical education. The country is proud of the services of this institution. Imran is University of Bradfords Honorary Chancellor. CPSP President Prof Zafarullah Chaudhry was the Chief Guest while Vice President and Regional Director Prof Khalid Masood Gondal was the Guest of Honor. Ms. Shirley Congdon, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bradford, Dr Faisal Sultan, Dr Najamuddin, Dr Aasim Yousif and faculty and students were also present. Imran Khan appreciated the role of Prof Zafarullah and Prof Khalid Masood Gondal in the field of medical education in Pakistan and other countries. Earlier, in his address as the Chief Guest, Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry acknowledged the services of the SKMCH&RC. He said that SKMCH&RC was one the premier institutions providing medical training to the doctors. He was very glad to see that the institute was actively involved in the training of specialist manpower in the country through CPSP Residency Programs. The SKMCH&RC has not only emerged as a state-of-the-art institution but has also attained a position of great repute as an institute of postgraduate medical education and vocational training, he concluded. At the end, degrees were awarded to the graduates. Ms Shirley Congdon thanked all the participants, particularly Prof Zafarullah Chaudhry and Prof Khalid Masood Gondal for gracing the ceremony. Meanwhile, former Punjab governor and new entrant into the PTI, Mian Azhar at a party function on Sunday claimed that the next elections would break the PML-N myth in the provincial capital. He made this claim while addressing a reception function hosted in his honour by PTI leaders and workers at party office. He maintained that provincial metropolis has no more a stronghold or fort of the ruling party of the province and PTI would break PML-Ns myth in the next polls.
