Islamabad- Member Election Commission Punjab, retired Justice Riaz Kayani, has served former Additional Secretary of the commission Afzal Khan with a legal notice worth 20 million rupees.
The notice demands from Afzal Khan to apologize from the member ECP within fourteen days.
It says if the additional secretary does not apologize for his act of defaming the serving member ECP, then he reserves the right to proceed with civil or criminal lawsuits against Afzal Khan. Retired Justice Riaz Kayani has taken a stance in the notice that Afzal Khan leveled baseless allegations against him damaging his reputation.
