LAHORE: PPP Secretary General Sardar Latif Khosa yesterday supported a full-fledged military operation against terrorists in Punjab.

“It has become inevitable,” he said while remarking on the report that Rangers were being deployed in Punjab to launch operation against militants.

He said Punjab government was resisting action against terrorists in Punjab though they (terrorists) had their hideouts in the province.  To a question, he said the PPP may come into the political arena if the government did not give answers to the questions on its involvement in corruption. He dispelled the impression that PPP had soft corner for the PML-N government by saying it was standing with the opposition parties on the issues of Panama leaks and the Model Town tragedy.–Staff Reporter

About his party's participation in the PTI march in Raiwind,  he said the PPP had not so far been contacted in this regard.–Staff Reporter
