ISLAMABAD - Bahawalpur Blind Cricket team defeated Islamabad by 28 runs to lift the PAF Cricket Champion Trophy for Blind title here at PAF Complex Cricket Ground on Thursday.
Batting first, Bahawalpur scored 245-6. In reply, Islamabad could manage 217/8 in the allotted overs. Zohaib of Bahawalpur was declared player of the final.
Air Marshal M Hassan, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Administration), PAF  was the chief guest on the occasion and awarded prizes to the players.
PAF is organising this event since 2001 and also extending financial assistance amounting to Rs 48,000 per annum for ICCB, which has now been enhanced to Rs 100,000 per annum.
