Rawalpindi - Chontra police have booked a director of illegal housing society on charges of hurling life threats towards a police officer and his son on phone call, informed sources on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Chaudhry Naheem Ijaz, the director of illegal Blue World City, they said.
However, no arrest was made by police so far, sources said. According to sources, Sub Inspector (SI) Muhammad Safeer, submitted a complaint with Station House Officer (PS) Chontra that he is posted in this police station and Chaudhry Naheem Ijaz made a phone call on his cell number on 9/12/2021 and accused him (SI) of lodging First Information Report against his (Naheem) nephew. He said the caller threatened him and his son of dire consequences. “I don’t spare even my father if he does wrong with me. You and your son, who is age-fellow of my (Naheem) son. You and your son should be concerned about their safety now,” SI quoted Naheem Ijaz as saying. SI Safeer shared with police that Naheem Ijaz got infuriated over him because he had registered case against many employees including directors of Blue World City on charges of obtaining forceful release of Chaudhry Nadim Ijaz after apex court cancelled his bail last week. He asked SHO to register case against the caller and to arrest him. Taking action, police registered case against Chaudhry Naheem Ijaz and began investigation.
