Pakistan to face Scotland in first T20 in Edinburgh

Pakistan will be looking to end their current tour of United Kingdom on a high with a T20 International series against Scotland, starting today. 

The match will begin at 8 pm Pakistan Standard Time.

Pakistan will be playing two T20 Internationals against Scotland who are on a high from their ODI win against England. On the other hand,  Scotland will be looking to upset Pakistan, the highest ranked T20I team when they take on the green shirts in the first of their two T20I today. 

Pakistan are currently the number one side in the ICC T20I team rankings while Scotland are ranked 11.  

Pakistan Cricket team Captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed said, "We were not taking them lightly even before the England match." 

Pakistani squad comprised of Sarfraz Ahmed (captain), Ahmed Shehzad, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Rahat Ali, Usman Shinwari and Shaheen Afridi. 

The other side (Scotland) is comprising with Kyle Coetzer (captain), Richie Berrington, Dylan Budge, Matt Cross, Alasdair Evans, Craig Wallace, Michael Leask, Calum MacLeod, Hamza Tahir, George Munsey, Safyaan Sharif, Chris Sole, Mark Watt, Brad Wheal, Stuart Whittingham.

The second T20I will be played on Wednesday, June 13th in Edinburgh.
