ISLAMABAD - Chief Commissioner Islamabad has issued transfer and posting orders of 8 senior police officers, informed sources on Friday.
A notification in this regard has also been issued, they said.
According to sources, Chief Commissioner Islamabad has transferred SSP Traffic Farrukh Rashid and posted him as SSP Law and Order. They said Muhammad Khurram Rashid, who was serving as AIG Operations, was transferred and appointed as AIG Establishment by the Chief Commissioner. SP Logistics Dr Naveed Atif was also changed and appointed as AIG Establishment and Syed Karar Hussain, who was awaiting for posting, has been posted as SSP Islamabad Traffic Police. 
Sources added SP City Muhammad Omar Khan was transferred and posted as SSP Logistics with additional charge of AIG operations and Rana Wahab, serving as SP Rural Zone, was posted as SP City Zone. Nowsherwan Ali, awaiting posting, was appointed as SP Rural Zone by the Chief Commissioner Islamabad. 
All the newly appointed police officers have assumed their charges.
