Kabul- Afghan officials says three people were killed and eight were injured in attacks by militants at different checkpoints in the east of country.
The deputy provincial governor of Ghazni province said groups of militants, including some on motorbikes, attacked three police checkpoints. Three people were killed,  including a policeman and two civilians, while injuring eight others. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
