Gichk, a small town in Panjgur district, Balochistan, remains woefully neglected by authorities. It lacks basic road infrastructure, causing tragic accidents and loss of life. Elders say they have never seen electricity, gas, or internet in their town, leaving residents unaware of developments in surrounding areas or even the rest of Pakistan.
Their fundamental rights have been ignored. There are no schools to educate the children. I urge the government to address the plight of Gichk’s people, who have been systematically denied their basic rights.
