Islamabad - Overseas Pakistanis on Sunday expressed deep gratitude to the nation and lauded the armed forces for their professionalism and successful response to Indian aggression, highlighting unity and patriotism among Pakistanis across the globe.
Several expatriates praised the role of the armed forces in safeguarding national sovereignty and upholding the country’s honour in the face of external threats.
Hassan Dar, a London-based Pakistani and supporter of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), admired the government and military, describing them as ‘Shaheen’—a symbol of strength and resilience.
Rashid Hashmi, another overseas Pakistani, said the Air Force’s bravery in 2025 would be remembered as a historic moment of national pride. He also praised Nawaz Sharif’s leadership and referred to the army chief as ‘Sipa Salar’, appreciating his strategic skills and commitment to national defence.
A Kashmiri resident in London condemned Indian atrocities in IIOJK and called the Pakistan Army a beacon of hope for Kashmiris. He added that the armed forces represented resistance against Indian oppression and stood in solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
