Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has expressed strong support for Pakistan’s armed forces, declaring that the entire nation stands united in defending the homeland.

Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court on Monday, Rashid remarked that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is under intense domestic criticism. He extended congratulations to the Pakistani nation and hailed the armed forces for their bold and effective response to Indian hostilities.

Rashid warned that any further aggression from India would be met with an even more powerful counterattack. “India has no idea about the kind of advanced technology we possess. It is capable of inflicting devastating consequences on the enemy,” he asserted.

The former federal minister added that Pakistan’s armed forces have delivered a message that India will not forget for years.

Defense analysts echoed similar sentiments, noting that Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes have put India on the back foot and sent a strong signal globally that Pakistan's sovereignty is non-negotiable. They commended the military for its unshakable resolve and readiness to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Pakistan launched strikes on multiple Indian targets in the early hours of Saturday under Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos (Iron Wall), in response to Indian attacks on three Pakistani airbases—Nur Khan, Shorkot, and Murid. The operation reportedly destroyed several key Indian military installations.
