Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh Ali Anan Qamar added another feather to his cap by leading the district in development across the division of Dera Ghazi Khan.

This was revealed in a progress review video link meeting chaired by Commissioner Dera Ghazi Liaqat Ali Chatha here the other day.  Deputy Director Planning Anam Hafeez told the meeting that 392 development projects approximately worth Rs 20 billion are underway in the district in the financial year 2022-23. She added that 19 new development schemes amounting to the tune of Rs 7 billion have been added in the current fiscal year.

It is worth mentioning here that DC Muzaffargarh himself is reviewing the progress and quality of ongoing development in the district. He has directed the authorities concerned to make all-out efforts to complete the development stipulated time frame.

Qamar directed departments to expedite work on development projects in various parts of the district and set a deadline for their completion. He ordered officials to ensure transparency and quality of work in the execution of different projects, especially those related to buildings, roads, and the public health engineering department.

Commissioner Dera Ghazi Liaqat Ali Chatha appreciated the efforts of DC Muzaffargarh Ali Anan Qamar and Assistant Commissioner Jamil Haider Shah for their keen interest in development schemes for the welfare of the general public in the district.
