N to win all Rawalpindi seats, claims Abbasi

RAWALPINDI - PML-N former MNA and candidate for NA-56, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, blasted his political rival Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, saying Sheikh ruled over the city for 25 years but delivered the masses nothing than corruption, unemployment and hunger. Abbasi indicated that Sheikh Rashid cannot become even a councillor in any elections because of his bad performance.
PML-N former MNA was addressing a public gathering after inauguration of his Central Election Office at Rehmanabad here on Friday. Former Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider and Sardar Khalid Ibrahim were prominent among the participants of the gathering.
He said that the voters of Mian brothers would respond Sheikh’s boost of demolishing the flyover by throwing him (Sheikh) in Nullah Leh by rejecting him on May 11, the polling day.
While hitting on Imran Khan of PTI very hard, Abbasi said Imran was always indulged daydreaming and would not win NA-56 seat. He asked Imran Khan to contest him in general elections instead of withdrawing his nomination papers for NA-56. He said that PML-N delivered a lot to people of Pindi. He said that PML-N would clean sweep in upcoming general elections and Mian Nawaz Sharif would take oath as PM. Raja Farooq Haider, while addressing, said that Rawalpindi was the stronghold of PML-N and all the candidates would bag a comprehensive win in general elections. He also criticised Sheikh Rasheed saying people would reject the friend of former military dictator in general elections.
“Though I am affiliated with PPP but not with the gang of PPP who looted the country with both hands (Zardari gang)” said Sardar Khalid Ibrahim while addressing the gathering. He said that Nawaz was a man with great political wisdom and would steer the country out of crises.
