LAHORE (APP) - Federal Minister for Industries and Production Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has said every foreign national must respect Pakistan law and no compromise would be made on security. The federal minister was talking to the media after his visit to Jinnah Hospital to inquire after the health of Moon Market blast victims on Saturday.He said no concession would be granted to any person even Americans and Europeans and all would be dealt with equally under the law of the land. When our citizens go abroad, they have to put off their coats, shoes and undergo a body search and we too will not allow any security lapse, he observed. Manzoor Wattoo termed terrorism an international issue. He said terrorists were losing the war in Waziristan as the Pakistan Army with the public support had thrown them out of Swat and Malakand.Wattoo paid glowing tributes to the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army in the war on terror, adding that the nation had also contributed immensely to it. Terrorists, after defeat in Swat and Waziristan, have resorted to cowardly acts like bomb blasts in Peshawar, Lahore, Multan and Pindi, Wattoo observed. He appreciated the national resolve to overcome the challenges. Earlier, the minister visited injured people in Jinnah Hospital. Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College, Medical Superintendent Jinnah Hospital and PPP leader Munir Ahmad Khan were also present.
