LAHORE - PCB Dynamites registered 4-wicket victory over PCB Blasters in the Triangular One Day Women's Cricket Tournament 2018 second match played at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan on Monday.

PCB Dynamites won the toss and elected to field first. Blasters, put into bat first, could score 139 runs in 46.1 overs. Ayesha Zafar emerged as top scorer as he played 55 balls to gather 40 runs, hitting 5 fours while she was ably assisted by Hafsa Khalid (23), Kainat Imtiaz (22) and Fazila Ikhlaq (20). Natalia Pervaiz was wrecker-in-chief of Blasters’ batting as he grabbed four wickets for 27 runs while Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz also bowled well and bagged two wickets each for 21 runs each.

PCB Dynamites replied strongly as their players played sensible innings and landed their home safely in 43.4 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Kainat Hafeez played the heroic role in her team’s triumph as she slammed unbeaten 35 runs off 89 balls which included 3 fours. Omaima Sohail also batted well and scored 53-ball 27 hitting 4 fours and Javeria Rauf smashed 40-ball 24 with the help of 5 fours. Ghulam Fatima (3-27) and Rameen Shamim (2-23) though bowled well for Blasters, but their efforts proved futile for their team, which lost the match by 4 wickets.

For her outstanding bowling performance, Natalia Pervaiz of PCB Dynamites was named player of the match. Aftab Gillani and Kashif Sohail supervised the match as field umpires while Sohail Khan acted as match referee and Hafiz M Hamza official scorer.
