RAWALPINDI - Executive District Officer (EDO) (Health) Dr Zafar Iqbal Gondal visited several medical stores and also took medicines samples for laboratory tests here on Saturday.     He was accompanied by District Drug Officer (DDO), Cannt, and newly appointed District Drugs Inspectors Naveed Akhtar, Arslan Siddiqui and Rashid Awan. As per details, this inspection team during the operation made challan of Zaidi Traders for having no licence at Bashir Plaza. Meanwhile, a huge quantity of unregistered medicines was also recovered from a Dental Supply Forum and also was made a challan against it. However, Mir Gee and Sharif Gee Chemists was given warning on absence of qualified staff while the samples have been taken from Altaf and Co for laboratory examinations. During an operation against quakes, EDO Dr Zafar Iqbal directed to seize the equipment of the quakes sitting at Fawara Chowk (Raja Bazaar) and busy to provide medical treatment to skin patients. Similarly, the inspection team cut a challan of Chaudhry Dental Clinic near Pohri Pull whereas the quake of the clinic fled from the scene after seeing the inspection team.       The EDO pledged to continue the operation against the quakes and fake medicine sellers to protect the humanity from them.
