Muhammad Yasir Pirzada, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), visited the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Headquarters, Football House, in Lahore today. He was warmly welcomed by PFF’s Head of Legal Ali Akram and Director of HR Aziz Malik.
According to the Press Release issued by PFF, Pirzada commended the PFF for successfully conducting its historic elections and reaffirmed his full support for the federation’s ongoing efforts—under the leadership of PFF President Mohsen Gilani—to revive and grow football in Pakistan.
Among the key topics discussed was the proposed renovation and upgradation of Punjab Stadium, Lahore to meet international standards, similar to enhancements made at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad.
The meeting also focused on nationwide football development initiatives. The DG PSB assured the PSB’s full cooperation with the PFF’s roadmap, which includes strengthening grassroots infrastructure, advancing youth and women’s development, and establishing sustainable professional league structures.
