KP minister, CM aide vow to root out corruption from provincial HED

Peshawar  -  To enhance transparency and improve performance in the Higher Education Department (HED) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a high-level meeting was held at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar between the Provincial Minister for Higher Education, Meena Khan Afridi, and the Adviser to the Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption, Musaddiq Abbasi, regarding the proposed anti-corruption toolkit.

During the meeting, Minister Meena Khan Afridi briefed the Adviser on the ongoing reforms and initiatives within the department aimed at improving efficiency. He highlighted the steps taken in areas such as digitization, austerity, and rationalization, and outlined the challenges currently being addressed. The Minister also shared various potential solutions that are under consideration.

Both Meena Khan Afridi and Musaddiq Abbasi reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating corruption from the Higher Education Department in line with the vision of PTI’s founding chairman, Imran Khan, and the party’s core principles. They pledged to utilize all available resources to ensure transparent governance and efficient service delivery to the public.

Adviser Musaddiq Abbasi assured that a detailed feedback draft on the proposed anti-corruption toolkit would be shared with the Higher Education Department to support the strengthening of institutional integrity and accountability mechanisms.
